SERVICE

PLANNING MADE SIMPLE, SUCCESS MADE POSSIBLE.

The NextStep content is tailored to each client and administered through one on one, in person or video conference meetings, twice a month for six months (eligible for an annual renewal based on availability and mutual alignment). I offer over 200+ workbook style pages of mental models and original curriculum formulated from real-time scenarios over the last decade in professional sports and corporate America.

A firm believer that people + time are all we have, relationship building is my focus. Communication and connection are not only critical, but essential components to success in an ever-changing, technology driven global society.

As a thought partner, I specialize in helping emerging young professionals, spirited entrepreneurs, and talented tenured executives outline and accomplish their ongoing purpose, vision, and goals with fresh, invigorating perspective.

NextStep Elite gives you a formula for success in simple terms that you can understand and apply. I walk with you, not in front or behind you, but next to you every step of the way.

Once individual executive coaching success has been established and benchmarked, an option for broader corporate group often coaching emerges.

This progression from individual to group coaching is authentic and offers leaders a chance to incorporate their teams, directs, and colleagues into our programming together for a collaborative approach to growth.

You choose your mentors; your mentors don't choose you.

What would you attempt if you knew someone was with you, no matter what?

invitation #1

INSPIRE HALLWAY CONVERSATIONS

In this digital age of loose connection, I am an advocate for purposefully inciting intentional conversations that spark curiosity and worth for all parties involved — yes, even and often especially, in today’s remote working conditions. Human connection matters, and while it may seem like a lost art given our global circumstance of late; art is to be practiced and is eventually mastered when pursued as a lifelong, passionate endeavor. Connection is no different.

Authentic connection is a skill. Now that the office hallways have been displaced by home desktops and coffee shops, how are you building human capital with those whom you make asks of daily? With fewer chance occurrences to incite meaningful moments and mindful memories, how are you reaching the hearts and minds of those you influence?

I connect workplace generations and empower students, Gen Z, millennials, and senior executives to speak the same language by building strong personal brands and making real, heartfelt connections.

SO OLD, IT'S NEW. BACK TO THE BASICS.

invitation #2

PRIORITIZE ENERGY VS. TIME

How frequently do you hear yourself or others say, "I just don't have enough time" or, "I just wish I had more time"? We have exactly the same number of hours per day given to Albert Einstein, Babe Ruth, Thomas Jefferson, Jay Z, Michaelangelo, Steve Jobs, Jackie Robinson, JFK, and Mother Theresa. So why do people recognize and know these names, but not yours? Consider how they chose to spend their energy, not time.

7 QUESTIONS FOR "BUSY" PEOPLE

  1. HOW OFTEN DO YOU REPLY WITH "BUSY" WHEN ASKED HOW YOU ARE DOING?

  2. WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU USED THE TERM "BUSY" TO DESCRIBE YOUR WORK SCHEDULE?

  3. HAVE YOU EVER RESPONDED WITH "BUSY" TO MAKE YOURSELF FEEL OR LOOK IMPORTANT?

  4. IS BEING "BUSY" THE MOST PROFITABLE, EFFICIENT USE OF YOUR ENERGY?

  5. DO YOU LIKE SPENDING YOUR TIME WITH "BUSY" PEOPLE? HOW ABOUT YOUR ENERGY?

  6. IS TIME YOUR ALLY OR YOUR ADVERSARY?

  7. OTHER THAN "BUSY," WHAT ADJECTIVES CAN YOU USE TO EFFECTIVELY DESCRIBE YOUR DAY THE NEXT TIME YOU TALK TO SOMEONE? (FULL, DETAILED, ETC.)

Note: No matter the intention, the response "busy" is often heard and understood as "I don't have time for you," "I don't have time for this conversation," or "you are not important to me." It may also invite others to speculate your time management and priorities. Though Mother Teresa left the world with many memorable quotations, it seems "I'm busy." was left out of her biography.

The NextStep Elite curriculum focuses on energy management as a means to conquering time management. Energy is the root of our judgement (how we choose to make decisions). Time is a constant, which we work with and rely on to accomplish things. Once we commit to making time our ally instead of our adversary and learn to intentionally allocate our energy (a limited resource) work and life become more fulfilling and fun.

BE SOMEONE WORTH FOLLOWING

ARCHITECT YOUR LIFE FIRST, YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA SECOND.

WHAT IF YOUR LIFE WAS REALLY AS COOL AS IT LOOKS ON YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS?

I lead in a way that inspires individuals to have confident, premeditated answers when asked, "What's your next step?" I'm convinced that happy hours, holiday parties, and weddings would be a lot more interesting and possibly more inspiring if we did even this much to live on purpose and actively build the lives we dream about.

Assess your concentric circles, amplify your sphere of influence. You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with. As a result the people and processes entwined in your days directly impact your life. You are invested in what you do, you exchange hours of your life for it and so do your peers, classmates, and coworkers; how is that working out for you?

NextStep connects you with people who help you move toward your desired reality, not away from it.
